Who is running this thing?

My name is Alan M. Polansky. I am a Professor of Statistics at Northern Illinois University. I have no real railroad experince except fond memories of the MKT railroad from my childhood. I grew up in San Antonio near Interstate 35 where numerous MKT trains would head in and out of San Antonio. When we visited relatives, they all lived near the MKT main line of the Hillsboro Subdivision (West, Waco, Bruceville, etc.). I miss seeing six or eight SD40-2s, GP38s and GP40s, all in yellow and green (or in white and red if you were lucky) screaming through town as they pulled their load.
